If these answers are yes, please read on as we are looking for a Senior Football Consultant that is able to assist our clients in the usage of our data-driven products, especially in working with (live) tracking- and event data.

SciSports is growing! We are expanding our Football Consultants team and are looking for an experienced and ambitious new colleague. You will work in close contact with our clients under supervision of the Head of Customer Experience.

We are looking for applicants that speak the football language and have the urge to find the right insights for the team. Experience in working with tracking- and event data as supportive evidence for decision-making in football is essential.

In this job you will focus primarily on supporting the football clubs in the various leagues that SciSports is working with. Your focus will be on onboarding users to the platform and to ensure users get the maximum value out of the data and insight.

TASKS

As a Football Consultant, your primary accountabilities & responsibilities include:

• Roll out of the SciSports Applications for clubs and leagues
• Supporting the Sales/CX team with daily work activities
• Write reports, provide training to- and contact clients
• Work with teams and clubs to create custom insights based on various data sources
• Receive feedback and process internally to the Product team to improve our service on a daily basis
• Supply our clients with insights and proactive advice

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

• Experienced in working with tracking- and event data, preferably gained by working at a football club or federation
• You know how to communicate effectively with staff at football clubs and federations and you are capable of translating (tactical) questions and demands into solutions and insights

CANDIDATE PROFILE AND CHARACTERISTICS

• Preferably based in the Netherlands, definitely EU-based

• Strong communicator

• Die-hard football fan. Passionate about tactics, player analysis and talent identification
• Client focused: Excellent consulting- and service skills
• Flexible in working hours: Weekend and evening work can be part of the job
• Ability to travel (EU primarily, approximately 35% of your time)
• Experience in data analytics/science is a plus
